Anonymous said,
"Is your hair pink at the ends?"

Omg yes. Thanks for noticing. I didn’t think it showed up that well. You can tell in this extremely enhanced photo that is extremely enhanced solely for the purpose of showing off my pink hair. lol. (Disregard the “stay fierce” sometimes I make illogical decisions)

And the only pictures I got from the show because my phone was below 20% the whole time. Panorama during Nightingale (I think) and a panorama during Neon Lights (:

Okay, so yesterday (March 16, 2014) I went to the Demi concert in Omaha, Nebraska.

I woke up bright and early at 8am to get ready, and left my house at about 11am. I got to Omaha at about 12-12:30pm, and me and my friend went to McDonalds to wait for our other friends who were coming.

I totally forgot the tickets at my house, which is, like, an hour and a half away from the concert venue (Centurylink Center), so my other friends had to get them and bring them to me omg i was dying.

ANYWAY, they finally got there at about 2:30, which was the very start of VIP check in (VIP check in was from 2:30-3:30), but there was already people standing in line and checked in, so idk…. (I got soundcheck tickets, which were $75 each)

We stood in line for about 2-3 hours (which seemed like forever, but we made friends :3) and FINALLY they said we could go in, but the long ass meet and greet line got to go in first (little hoes). And then we got to go in, and I was literally, like 15-20 feet away from Demi.

At the soundcheck we waited for Demi to come out while they were testing the mics and the speakers and whatever, and after about 15 minutes, Demi finally came out. She talked for a little bit and then she sang Believe in Me and Made in the USA. After that, she answered five or so questions (don’t ask me, I can’t remember all of them) I remember one was “If you could star in one crime show on TV which one would it be?” and she said “It’s not really a crime show, it’s more of a drama, but I’d have to say From Dusk ‘Til Dawn.” (of course Demi would promote Wilmer :3333) And after those questions she left, which I personally thought was bullshit for $75, but I’m not complaining because at least I got to go.

After that, my friends and I went into the VIP lounge and hung out with Cole Plante (the DJ who remixed Neon Lights and DJs at Demi’s show). He was super cool. He’s my age (seventeen) and he’s the nicest guy ever.

Eventually, 6:00pm rolled around and it was time for Cole to leave to get on stage, so shortly before that my friends and I bought merch and then went to our seats and hung out there until 7:00pm when the show officially started.

The first person to come out was Collins Key, who’s also my age and very attractive. He picked a random girl from the audience (who happened to be sitting directly behind me, like omg.) and did some magic for her.
Then Fifth Harmony came out and they were amazing and they sang 5 songs or so (don’t ask me which ones, I don’t remember, and I don’t really listen to their music.)
After Fifth Harmony, Collins Key came out again and did some more fabulous magic (he’s really really good, like at first I was like “why the fuck is he on the tour?” but he’s awesome).
When he was done for the second time, Little Mix came out and they were SO good! I was really surprised. Like, before that day, I’d never heard any of their songs (knowing it was them), and I LOVED their performance, however, they were on FOREVER and they sang so many songs. At this point, I really just wanted Demi, and so it probably seemed longer than it really was, but they were seriously so so so amazing.
And for the last time, Collins Key came out and did the most badass magic ever and whatnot, but, again, it was SOOOOO long. I wanted Demi, and I didn’t want to wait any longer.
BUT FINALLY DEMI CAME OUT AND YAAAAASSSSSS.
DEMI STARTED OUT WITH HEART ATTACK AND SHE WAS SO GOOD. I was literally dancing and singing to every fucking word and I LOVED IT. The specific songs after that were a blur, but I was enjoying myself soooo much. I can’t even put my feelings into words, so idek.
After some fast songs, Demi slowed it down a little and played all her slower songs, and I’ve never felt more spiritual in my life than I did when Demi was singing her slower songs. It was amazing.
Demi gave a long speech before Warrior (longer than usual) about how she’s living proof of recovery, and that you can get help, etc, etc, the usual stuff, but she talked a little bit about the stuff she was tweeting Kingsley about Lady Gaga (not mentioning names and stuff) like, she said that it’s not fun to make fun of mental illnesses and that.
After Warrior, she sang Let It Go, and she stopped in the middle of the song and pulled up a little 7 year old girl on stage to help her sing and it was so fucking cute my feels i cant.
THEN it was the fetus Demi medley or whatever it’s called and Two Pieces and Got Dynamite, then it was NEON LIGHTS TIME BITCHES.
During Neon Lights, basically what the app does is it syncs everyone’s phone to flash the same colors at the same time to the beat of the song and it was amazing.
After that, Demi left and after what felt like 20 minutes, Demi came back for the encore and sang Skyscraper and GYHAB then she left and I had the best night ever.
